Welcome!
Hi there! Welcome to my blog. My name is Lacey Wallace, and I am a first semester MBA student who loves to travel, love on dogs, and last but not least — drink lots of coffee. I was first introduced to coffee by my dad, a fellow coffee enthusiast. I love the atmosphere of coffee shops where the smell of freshly ground coffee mixes with lively conversation as patrons happily sip their coffee. Now, since we are no longer able to sit in coffeeshops due to social distancing measures, I have begun making coffee at home for my friends and family. Whether it is catching up with old friends or sharing a cup with my grandmother (aka Granniema), creating recipes and sipping coffee with loved ones continues to bring me joy.
In this blog, I will share my favorite coffee recipes with you and brainstorm some new ideas for coffee and tea recipes! Maybe one day I can put these recipes into good use when I open my own coffeeshop. Thank you for reading, and I’ll write to you soon! Until then, I would love to hear about your go-to coffee/tea order. Maybe I have a DIY dupe that you can try until your favorite coffeeshop reopens!
Hello Lacey! I absolutely love drinking coffee too, and as a master student with double majors, coffee is a must. My favorite go-to coffee menu is Caramel Macchiato. Although how much I love drinking coffee, I actually do not know how to make a good coffee. Whenever I want a good coffee, I need to buy them from either Starbucks or local coffee shops. The only coffee that I can make at home is an instant coffee, the one that comes in the package since the only thing I have to do is to pour the hot water into it. I'm excited to know and learn more about the new coffee and tea recipes from you.
ReplyDeleteLacey, I thought I could bring a different perspective since I don't drink coffee. I know it's weird that I don't. But, I do enjoy visiting coffee shops for the fresh smell and to work on assignments and other things. With that in mind, I would be very interested in reading your blog. Who knows? Maybe I will require a taste for coffee based on your blog articles. I look forward to reading more.
DeleteLacey, I am more than excited for your future posts. I am a coffee lover as well, and I cannot go a day without coffee. Similar to your situation, even I was forced to make coffee at home every day since coffee shops were closed. At least I saved some money, haha. My go-to order is the caramel macchiato. I am very excited to try your coffee recipes.
ReplyDeleteLacey, I am sorry my dear. I am more of a tea lover. Anyway, I do have two brother-in-laws who loves coffee and very picky about their coffee. I also own a espresso machine at home. With this in mind, believe me, I do understand how good coffee can sustain human's everyday life, especially in my household.
ReplyDeleteWhile I am not much of a coffee lover, good coffee is always welcome, especially if you bring me some. Think of it as a part of experimental research! How can I confirm to the world that your coffee recipe is really good, except taste it.
Hey Lacey! I am so glad to see that you are taking this class! I am also so excited that you are going to be writing about coffee. While, I am also obsessed with coffee, I know little to nothing about different types and ways of making it. So, I am looking forward to learn a lot from you and this blog!
ReplyDeleteLacey, to say I love coffee would be an understatement. Often while watching television at night , one of the characters will be drinking coffee and my thoughts quickly move on to my mornings cup of coffee! Much like you, the virus has caused me to make my coffee at home more often now. I look forward to hearing about new coffee recipes. What is your favorite coffee?
